Random Question: Symbol, Death: Is it worth it?

I am not sure if a thread about this exists, but I don't think enemies in the majority of BG2 have less than 60 hit points. So my question is, is it worth it?

Uhm, depends for what are you using it.
If you use it to trap-kill some critters after some Skull Traps, it's boss, but if you use it to attack enemies during a fight, then it's crap. I use it to trap the Last Seal battle along with several shiploads of Skull Trap, Delayed Fireball Blast, Symbol Stun, Symbol Fear, Glyphs of Warding and Symbols of Death. Last time, I stacked 853 traps, without counting the 7 Thief traps I had set there

Problem with it is that not only do you have to get your enemies down to 60 or less health (might be just less than 60), but it also requires a save vs death (no penalty/bonus) in order for it to work. It also doesn't bypass magic resistance (meaning that is a whole other potential cause of the spell not working).

In my opinion its just too big of a hassle to use.

Well, I should invest in other spells. But, dang Crevs. That is...A LOT. I'm not good at using traps, but I was stupid and assumed it meant total hit points, not current. Whoops.
