    Not sure. I only used Monk once, as a tiefling.
    They probably don't. I think SR is a static value, and the game just uses whichever one is best.

    Either way, with +2 Dex, drow make as good a Monk as anybody else.

    @fish0331 Yes they do. try making a Deep Gnome monk. By mid-late game they are untouchable. Their natural AC stacks with the Monk AC and so does their MR.
    At least that's how I remember it. It has been about a year or so since I last played IWD2
