Huh! Not so fast, Sir @Arthas. My EET-installation has bitten the dust. I talked to merchants in Athkatla, have had some encounters mentioned in this thread and used items from the mod but I did not make it into the Thron of Bhaal part of the game. Here is some sort of "Restrisiko" (found it) an element of risk remains.
