regarding party exp

in Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition
Anyone have an idea about how much more exp you get with fewer and fewer party members? Example...rather than run the standard 6 person crew I'd be running 4-5 crew.

    If you had six people and you killed something for 600 xp. Everyone would get 100 xp.. If you had three people and killed something for 600 xp, everyone would get 200 xp. It's just evenly split between them

    There is quest experience in the game, but apart from the beginning of the game, I dont think it matters much.
