Cannot Load My Saved Files BGEE

Today I decided to get back into BGEE, which had a few saved files in single player and multiplayer. When I did the 2014 update, none of my files showed up. I checked my Mac to see if the files were there, and they are located in the BGEE folder. I don't know how to get them to load in the game. I tried moving the game into the folder but still no dice. Can anyone help. Im using a Macbookpro 2008, and recently just upgraded the software to Maverick 10.6.8. Thank you :)
Ps. Sorry for posting it here, It wouldn't let me post in troubleshooting.

    We've heard some reports that updating to Mavericks might clear out your saved game directory; something to do with the way that Mavericks changes the library structure.
