Does BG2-EE use same graphic engine of Infinity with BG-EE?

I know that it's still early timeframe to ask this question,

In the announcement list :
BG-EE includes all features from Baldur's Gate: Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal,

But how about BG2-EE ? Is the grapic engine / rule same with BG-EE ??

If it's different , will developer issue the mod to link BG-EE and BG2-EE in the future ?
