The BG characters and co. as Pokémon trainers!

Ok, so I just had this idea to put Baldur's Gate (and if you want the entire Forgotten Realms) into an Pokémon AU (alternate universe).

What trainer class would everyone be?
What Pokémon would they train?
From what region/ town are they?

Do your worst ~

    I will go ahead and state the obvious:

    Minsc would have a Dedenne named Boo.

    Baeloth would have a Mewtwo, Alakazam snd a Gengar. 6? Pfft, 6 pokemon is for losers!

    Garrick would use 3 Caterpie and 3 Weedle.

    Be glad Baeloth is kind enough to leave his Mew, Starmie and Cloyster in Bill's PC. ;)

    Sarevok would probably use Dragonite. 6 of them, with different TM moves on each.

    Only really familiar with the first 151 but:

    Tiax might have a Grimer/Muk. Closest thing to the Ghast he summons in the game.
    Imoen... something cute. Ditto, maybe.
    Xzar seems like he'd have ghost or poison types, so Haunter.
    Montaron... Raticate.
    Alora, something cute also, maybe Meowth for burglary, or a Jigglypuff.
    Kagain, a Machoke to act as a bodyguard.
    Yeslick might have an Onix or Graveler to help with mining... or a Slowpoke to match his personality (it lived in the dam near his mine).
    Quayle, something to do with illusion so psychic types, maybe those little eggs, or a Drowzee, or Poliwhirl.
    Khalid, a Bellsprout or Paras, caught for him by Jaheira. Maybe Pidgey also, very plain and uninteresting.
    Jaheira, a Gloom and a Pinsir perhaps, I'm thinking grass and bug types because of druid.
    Viconia would need an underground, nocturnal Pokémon so Golbat, or Venonat.
    Kivan... Marowak. Both grieving for someone.
    Xan, maybe Clefairy since Moonblade, Moon Pokémon...
    Ajantis could have a loyal Growlithe.
    Minsc gets Pikachu.
    Dynaheir I think Golduck for some reason.
    Edwin, Kadabra/Alakazam, Electabuzz or Magmar.
    Shar-Teel, Nidorina, females rule.
    Skie, Starmie, a pretty jewel.
    Eldoth, Beedrill.
    Safana, Persian.
    Faldorn, Scyther and Spearow.
    Coran, Farfetch'd.
    Garrick would have fun with his Mr. Mime.
    Branwen would have all the ice types like Lapras.
    Baeloth... yeah, Mewtwo.
    Dorn, Rydo(r)n.
    Rasaad, Hitmonlee of course!
    Neera, Eevee, randomly becoming one of the three evolutions when she wild surges.
