in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
OK got her down twice and lost 4 people which is ok, but then I am sent back to the locket plane except no one comes and I can't get back to where I was. Is this a normal glitch?

    No. As soon as you step through the gate to confront Melissan, the Pocket Plane is supposed to "cease to exist". I've never heard of a glitch which puts you back there, that's very strange, but it's not surprising that you're now stuck: naturally no-one bothered to program any mechanism for leaving a place which is no longer meant to exist!
