They both have the last name of Il-Khan if I'm remembering correctly. (If I'm not, please correct me) Does this mean that they come from the same clan, or are they actually blood related to eachother?

    Much speculation, nothing official, but i hope they are, and it ties into some side-quest when bg2ee comes around.

    Well I am mostly asking because that's more incentive to bring him along at least through one playthrough from start to complete finish. That and the romance. If they ARE related, I hope they add in some awesome easter eggs for Neera and Rasaad as well. They pretty much did that for all the other characters that came with you from start to finish...

    Except Minsc I suppose.
