Okay so who in their right mind would get rid of the full area affect on the greater restoration spell. THAT WAS THE BEST SPELL IN THE GAME, it healed every party member fully and instantaneously. How the heck else am i supposed to kill amelissan?!

    The spells description stated that it only worked on a single creature. So they fixed the spell so that it worked properly. If you want mass healing then Mass Raise Dead is probably your best bet for that level, otherwise there are rods of resurrection or Greater Restoration if you want to quickly heal specific targets (without experiencing the long casting time of Heal).

    what i don't get: if you cast it yourself, the caster is fatigued. if you go to a temple and have it cast on you, the recipient is fatigued.
