Kindle Fire HDX Sideload

Hey team,

I'm new here, and I've been around the 'net looking for this information.

I see people reference (on the reviews) that they've got this working on their Kindle Fire HDX.

To clarify, I purchased the app on the Google Play store for my Nexus 7. Works great. I want to side load it. I've got the obb files copied over on the kindle (and even copied the data files too) and when I install the APK it tries to download the obb files (even though they are there).

Has anyone here got this to successfully run on their HDX? I'm 43 and the eyes aren't what they used to be. I'd prefer not to root my Kindle, but I would enjoy the 8.9 screen much more I think.

I know someone beta tested this in the HDX... so i would assume there is a way to run it. HELP...
