BGII:EE SteamOS+Linux is near?!?

I don't think that's a Steam error; maybe Beamdog is preparing to launch a Linux version of BGII:EE (and BG:EE as well)?

One way or another, at least I know now, that I won't have to pay second time, just to play at Ubuntu.
