Linux Beta?

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
According to this link, the steam version of BG:EE has a Linux beta available:

I bought it from Beamdog, and don't have the steam version to verify this.

Is there going to be a beta for Beamdog purchasers? After release, is the Linux version going to be available to Beamdog purchasers, or is this going to be a steam only type thing?

    For the moment it's Steam-only, but long-term we do want to make it available for Beamdog customers as well.
