Exploring speed

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Is any way to fasten exploring speed with faster movement outside of combat? In original BG I was able to do this in config file. Now I can't see any option for this.

    Open baldur.ini and change the number in this line (add it if it is not there) 
    'Program Options',	'Maximum Frame Rate',	'30',
    to something higher than 30. This will speed up the whole game by a proportional amount, just like in the original game.

    Hmm, I can't find any baldur.ini in my BGEE folder...

    Are you looking in the BGEE folder in User>Documents as opposed to Program Files by any chance? The first has your personal stuff, the latter is where the files to run the game are. And if you bought via Steam it's (eg) C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition
