[Known 9583] Interface Problems (Ios)

(Sorry if I post this in the wrong place but I don't know where else to put it! Sorry!) I recently got baldurs gate for iPhone 5c recently. So far it's fantastic! Sadly there is one problem. I will accidentally close the interface by tapping the red gem at the top left/right corners. When I try to re open by tapping them again on the bottom nothing happens! Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Is it a problem with the resolution or screen size of my phone or a common bug? Somebody help!
