Creating items for BG2EE under Windows 8.1 - Editor suggestions?

Hello everyone,

I'm new to these forums. I've been playing the BG-series since the very beginning and would like to create new items/edit existing items for BG2EE, which I'm playing at the moment.
I don't have any knowledge in modding or programming at all, the only tool I know about is "EE keeper", which doesn't have any functions in editing items to my knowledge.

I'm using Windows 8.1 on a 64-bit system.

Can you suggest a tool for me which is able to edit items for BG2EE on Windows 8.1?
If so, can you please link me to a single-step guide which describes item creation and/or manipulation?
