Combined Windows/OS X versions on Beamdog ?

Hi,

Now that there is Steamplay for BG:EE and that GOG is selling both BG:EE and BG2:EE as Windows + OS X 2-in-1 games, are the versions on Beamdog for these two games going to be merged too ? If not, what's the point of buying from Beamdog from now on ?

I would have waited if I knew the games were going to be released on GOG, this was quite unexpected

    Um...Beamdog makes more from it, so they stay in business and continue to produce stuff?
