This is the place for reporting textual errors in dialogues, journal entries, and descriptions. These include the following:
- spelling and grammar mistakes
- factual mistakes in the text itself (not generated by the program—see below)
- spoilers: dialogue and journal entries that unintentionally tell your character things they're not meant to know yet
- missing tokens or blatant assumptions that the PC is a certain race, gender, class...
- inconsistent wording for the same dialogue option or in descriptions for the same (type of) thing
Problems that do not fall under game text errors and which you should make a separate bug report for:
- stat calculation errors
- invalid string references
- problems with the (Not) Usable By header
- wrongly assigned (as opposed to misspelled) tooltips
- journal entry problems that are not typos
Please provide the exact quote and/or StrRef containing the problem. To see StrRefs, either place the following in Baldur.ini:

More of a text inconsistency (since spells normally say what the enemy needs to save against). Anyways, Skull Trap should say that it requires a save vs breath.
Nevermind. Looks like its been corrected already it just hasn't made it into the game.
"The smell of this chamber leads you to believe that it served for a lair for Giant Beetles."
This is redundant and doesn't make real grammatical sense. It certainly flows better as:
"The smell of this chamber leads you to believe that it served as a lair for Giant Beetles."
UPDATE: Nevermind. It is worded correctly on second try. I need sleep lol.
For example: Sometimes somebody mentions something about Luskan. But Luskan didn't exists in the time of IWD1.... Only Illusk, occupated by orcs...
Some books are dated 1368 DR, 1369DR, etc.. And one book tells us a story of Akar Kessell... And brave warriors, that defeated him... Mmmm.... But Drizzt doesn't even born in these years...
I think it's just an oversight.
This is sixteen years prior to Drizzt’s arrival on the
surface, as mentioned in the Icewind Dale Trilogy of books by R.A.
Salvatore.
Drizzt birth was in 1297, so I think the right phrase would be like ...sixteen years prior to Drizzt's birth...
Or, the other way, ...sixty years prior to Drizzt's arrival to Icewind Dale... because he ariived here exactly in this time
1) "...Most liches go to great lengths to protect their phylacteries, often placing them in remote locations where no can find them..."
where no can find them --> where no one can find them
2) "While alive, I served as a priest of Moradin for our church here with Dorn's Deep."
here with Dorn's Deep --> here within Dorn's Deep
Also, regarding what @HaHaCharade was saying about capitalizing "Apsel's wolf" vs "Damien's Fish," the w in wolf should be capitalized in this case. When capitalizing titles (such as quest titles), every word with exception to some smaller, less significant words (such as the, of, if, a, etc) should be capitalized. The issue isn't that Damien's Fish is a proper name and Apsel's wolf isn't, it's just inconsistent in it's capitalization of titles. Every quest name should should have most of the words capitalized. Baldur's Gate consistently does it, there's no reason Icewind Dale shouldn't.
EDIT: Also, in the character biography section it says “locks can sometimes be opened through bashing." How about replacing this with something like "enter your character's biography here" or something along those lines.
