Roleplaying with new characters

I am not experienced enough to DM but if we could find one (a DM) would anyone be interested in RPing with player characters created in BG or BG 2? I have really enjoyed reading along with LadyRhian's RP convo and think it would be cool to start from level 1 using pure Baldur's gate creation and rules.

What do you guys think?
