Still no way to transfer games from Beamdog's client to Steam?

I bought BG:EE and BG2:EE directly from Beamdog's website, since there was apparently no hope to see them coming on Steam. But now they are on Steam, they have been there for some time. I want to get them on Steam, but I find it pretty stupid to have to buy them anew since I already have them. I've also pre-ordered IWD:EE, I didn't knew that would come on Steam either. Can I get some kind of key to register my games on Steam too (I already know I can add them to my list as non-Steam games, but that's not the point)?

    There's no way to do that right now, but it would be a nice thing in the future I agree.

    We can do transfers on a case-by-case basis. PM @Dee.

    What does this mean? Do players need to have a "good" reason to request transfers?

    It means we have to do it manually. It would not be logistically feasible if thousands people suddenly wanted a transfer.
