Game bought from Beamdog, no Steam key

Hello,

I've searched this forum and the archives and would appreciate a confirmation to this conclusion: buying ID:EE from Beamdog (in my case, preordering) doesn't grant a key redeemable on Steam. Right?
It's not convenient however apparently this isn't the devs' call but Atari's, so be it. As long as the game's good :)
