Soundset transfer from BGII:EE to BG:EE

Not sure if I can get clearer than that. I really liked the MALE2 voice from Baldur's Gate 2 and I always wanted to use it in the first game, but was unable to. If there is a way to do so or a program I could use that someone can link me to, it'd be greatly appreciated.

I had requested the exact same thing many months ago (and for the exact same reason no less, I wish I sounded like MALE2 IRL): http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/30103/using-bg2-ee-soundsets-in-bg-ee

Ideally, though, there would be created a pool of all soundsets in BG:EE and BG2:EE and it would be available in both games.

I've been requesting this since before BG1:EE was even released.

You can do it manually using NearInfinity.

    http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/1978/near-infinity

Open BG2EE in NearInfinity and expand the Sounds folder. Select the MALE2 sounds and click the Export button to save a copy. (Unfortunately you have to do this one at a time, which is a pain.) Rename them so they don't get mixed up with the MALE2 soundset in BGEE. (Just change MALE2 to something else, 7 characters max, but keep the final character of the file name.)

Then copy the exported WAV files into the "sounds" folder in your BGEE directory. (If it doesn't exist, create one.)

I'm sure there's a way to batch export and copy the sounds automatically, but I'm not that tech savvy.

I just realized last night that there's a "sounds" folder inside the lang/en_US folder of the main BG2EE directory, so you could just copy the sounds from there and then rename them using something like Bulk Rename Utility (http://www.bulkrenameutility.co.uk/Main_Intro.php). Waaaay easier.
