Question regarding the new content.

in Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition
Hi everybody, I am a big fan of the Enhanced Editions of BG1 & BG2. I've already purchased this game and will be getting started soon.

That aside, I was wondering how much new content is in ID:EE? Regarding new quests or new areas to explore. Is it similar to the amount of new content we experienced in BG1 or BG2? We were given many hours of content. But from what I've read with ID:EE it doesn't seem like there's a lot of new content - just some restored content.

Is that the case? How does the new content compare to BG1 or BG2?

    There is no new content, only restored content. As far as I know.

    There is supossedly around 6 hours of restored content that was cut from the main game and expansions.
    What this is or where it is I have no idea since I just recently got the game myself and have just gotten to chapter 2 on my playthrough

    Mainly the new content is all the extra kits, classes and spells that existed in the BG games but not in the original IWD. That's still plenty.
