So this is weird

in Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition
Ive been playing with my party for a bit now, and I just got into the shattered hand tower, when I noticed my Sorceres life keeps depleting every so often, and I mean his max HP.

So i looked at him, and he has no disease/curse thats shown on the portrait/char screen, nor is he wearing any gear that would keep lowering his consitution score.

Any idea what gives?

    Does your sorcerer have a familiar? Every time a familiar dies, its summoner's Constitution score is reduced by one.

    Oh, yea hes been dieing like its his job. Anyway to restore said consitution? Would a restoration spell/scroll fix the issue?

    Sorry, the constitution loss is permanent. You really should read the spell description.

    Yea I brain farted there...ah well just no more quasit it seems xD

    ~spams stoneskin and web all day, everyday like a champ~ :P

    You probably didn't realize this, but you can talk to your familiar. By doing so, one option you can pick is to pick them up and put them in your backpack. Doing this lets you keep the health bonus without any risk of them getting killed.
