Stuck on Dorn's Quest

Hi there!
I need help with Dorn in BG2. I recruited him and did his Radiant Heart massacre and continued to play and play...and play. I played all the way to the (almost) end. I'm at the point where I've done literally everything but the main story's end (I'm at the part where I'm supposed to recruit help to storm Bodhi's lair) and yet there was no advancement in Dorn's story.
I got suspicious so I went back to the Radiant Heart and surprise, a conversation triggers regarding the massacre that I did in chapter 2. I've tried travelling and sleeping extensively, but no extra conversations trigger. So now I'm kinda stuck. What is required for the new convo to trigger? According to the walkthroughs I read it is supposed to be about killing a certain Helmite. Is there any way to advance forward? Maybe a console trigger for the conversation or something? Help me please, I don't want to start over the whole game just because I missed this trigger.
