Does Axe Proficiency apply to 2 handed Axes?

in Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition
Silly question probably but, the in game description of Axe mastery states it effects Throwing Axes and Battle Axes, but it says nothing about 2-Handed Axes, which is what my Half orc barbarian is using, is Axe mastery giving him a bonus or did I misplace my proficiency points? and if I did which proficiency, if any apply to 2-handed Axes?

    Yup all axes. One handed, two handed and throwing. Its a pretty decent one to take for that reason.

    Yes. But if you want to make sure, go check the character screen. The THAC0 and Damage sections show the bonuses/penalties that apply to your current weapon along with the sources.

    Yes, it's cool. One proficieny gives you one handed, two handed, and ranged weapon prof.

    Right on, thanks everyone good to know, I see now that its adding to the thaco, dmg modifiers. :)
