[Spoiler] Missing NPC, can't progress to Chapter 2

Lysan, the Aurilite you have to slay to progress in the main quest, is missing. I can't find her in the Vale Ice Cave. Can anyone help me please?

    Have you accepted the quest to kill her from Kresselack? She won't show up in her cave until you do.

    I did. Tried with every dialogue option. I had to resort to EEKeeper to activate the Global Variable to make her spawn.
