Sorcerer prime requisite

Just wondering if any particular stat is particularly important for sorcerers.

    Technically, they don't require any stat to be high. However, Dex and Con are obviously useful for survival and Wis if you plan to use Wish spell.

    Intelligence also has to be no lower than 9 or else the Sorcerer won't be able to use scrolls and some wands.

    For a second I thought there was a new "Sorcerer Prime" class in IWEE, and you were asking for the requisites to unlock it. Now that would be cool, a la Sorcerer Supreme!

    In later PnP, Sorcerer are based on CHA, afaik, but not in IWD/BG. They have no requisite stat, and aside from general usefulness no stat does anything to specifically improve a Sorcerer's abilities. You could run as a 3/3/3/3/3/3 and have the exact same spells in number and level, afaik.
