in Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition
I have gotten to the lower mines and my mage died in a battle and he will not resurrect. His profile picture is grey, he did not get turned to stone or froze to death. I sadly saved over my save point too quick. I have tried the Cleric resurrection and going to the temple in dorn's deep. When I use the cleric it says the spell did not take effect or something like that and it will not let me click on any of the options in the temple healing menu.

    You can always change the difficulty briefly to story mode so they get resurrected.

    If he is an elf then Raise Dead won't work on him (you'll need Resurrection).
