Near Infinity Question (Critical Strike)

The effect Proficiency bonus -> Critical Strike. This doesn't seem to work. Is this exclusively for Icewind Dale II, or is this broken... or what?

Anyone know?

    I believe it and several other available proficiency types currently do nothing. If you want to add crit chance it can be done through the critical threat range bonus effect though.
