I wonder, have you tried to create your own area for BG?
I have made three. One of them is typical BG area where I placed my favourite characters and items.
Other two is a small experiment. Because I'm working at pre-cast concrete factory, that's the place where I located my heroes. There are no new quests, just a lot of fight. I hope you like these areas. Please see links below.

    Looking good. The perspective is a bit off though, since BG is a 'not quite top down' game, but that just comes down to what backgrounds you choose for the land. The concept itself seems to work well.

    Did you do this in NI or a similar editor? Furthurmore, are you able to cross over the entire landscape with no collisions, or have you set the appropiate parameters?

    Thanks for showing!

    @Ward
    Thanks :)
    I used IETME to make these areas. I have done it the way described in IETME tutorial (with all appropriate parameters). You cannot walk over the entire landscape - just where you normally could walk, you have to use small bridge to go across stream, you can go up the stairs etc. There are doors to other locations and few containers with items. I found it really fun when doing this.
    I wanted to create new quest but I didn't know how to make new items and add character with new dialogues :(
