Play Android version with keyboard

If your android-device supports USB OTG (USB On-the-go) you can connect your keyboard and mouse to it and play IWD: EE like you would on a PC. Every hotkey is working like it should - for example
Inventory - I
Character Record - R
Return to Game - G
Journal - J
The big difference is that you can't change the key-bindings - as the manual states this menu-entry exists only for the PC/Linux/Mac-version. But you can edit your Baldur.ini. It is located at
[sd-card] / Android / data / com.beamdog.icewinddale / files* / Baldur.ini
*on a side note: create an [override] folder here to play custom mods
For example adding the following line to your Baldur.ini
'Mage Spells', 'SPWI603', '1073741922',
lets your mage cast Tenser's Transformation by pressing keypad 0.
To make it less complicated you can change or make your keybindings with the PC/Linux/Mac-version and then copy the corresponding lines over to your Baldur.ini of your android-device.
With Amazon Fire TV, Nexus Player and chinese tv boxes like the Tronsmart Orion R28 becoming more popular this 'tweak' could make gaming on your tv more comfortable.
It works flawlessly on my Tronsmart Orion R28 - buffing now can be done with ease... ^^
