Game bought on GOG.com, can I link it to the beamdog account?

Hi everybody.
I bought BG2:EE on gog.com (it was on sale).
I already have BG:EE on my beamdog account.
Can I bring one of the 2 from one account to the other? I would like to have both games on the same account.
If it will ever be doable, will there be any issues with patches timings? I mean, we are all waiting for the patch, maybe it will be released on a platform before than another...

Hi. Unfortunately, we can't do transfers between GoG and Beamdog.

Do you know if the patch we are all waiting for will be delayed on gog.com? I heard something about a delay on Steam, due to Atari. Is there a similar problem with Gog too?

Atari's out of the picture now, so Steam and GoG release copies should be updated around the same time as Beamdog's. The open beta for BGII:EE is only on Steam and Beamdog, however.

what do you mean with "open beta"?
Will the patch be released in a beta version? How long will the beta last?
I am waiting for the italian translation, so I am in no hurry anyway.

An open beta means anyone who wants the beta and owns the game on the mentioned platforms will be given access to it. (There is a process; instructions will be posted when the beta begins.)

The patch will initially be released in a beta version. How long it will last depends on how quickly the tests are finished and whether any serious issues are reported. I can't give an estimate, but I don't foresee it taking nearly as long as the previous open betas.
