[Resolved][Mac][GoG] game crashes upon save or quick-save in tutorial

MacOSX 10.9.5

1. Enter tutorial
2. create character OR select pregen Abdel
3. begin tutorial
4. try to quick-save or save

Observed
Game crashes and Apple Crash reporter launches

Expected
Game should save

Notes:
Game is a fresh install, no mods, first attempt to play.

3x crash logs w/system sw/hw info in zipped txt files. After first two crashes, rebooted to recovery partition: SMART = verified, disk “ok” after verify, no permissions needed repair. Reboot, tried again, crashed again.

    Can you check the following:
    Go to Documents / Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition
    Right click on "save" and choose "Get Info"
    Scroll to the bottom

    Do you have write access here?

    Interesting. There was an old alias of some sort there from a previous install attempt. When getting info, it didn't even have *any* w/r permissions listed at all. Anyway, I pulled/deleted that. Ran the game again and a BG save folder was then created. Whatever that older file was seemed to be disallowing it's creation. Quick-save/reg saves work now. Issue resolved. Now to get that 93 roll, 18/84 Elf archer back... (crashed w/o able to save before).

    PS: I rerolled and got a 95, 18/28. Yep, another "Beleg" (LB**, LSw*, Mace*).
