Has Polymorph Self been fixed?

I didn't see anything about this in the patch notes, and it SEEMS to be there in BG:EE (the bug I mean), so ... With Polymorph self, does the Flind form gain it's full proficiency with the Halberd (& the Salamander with Shapechange)? Also, is the Flind supposed to have Haste or not, as it does seem the Spider was always supposed to have haste and a full 5 Att/rnd. The sorcerer is by far my favorite class and making use of an oddball shapeshifter with an arcane caster vs the druid is something I've been waiting on.
