So, Neera died in the battle with Sarevok...

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
So, it's my first real runthrough of BG. I'm playing a Gnomish Fighter/Illusionist, and I've romanced Neera. From what I understand, that romance will carry through to BG2 in the latest patch.

My problem is, she died seconds after I finished off Sarevok, right before the game auto-saved for the export to BG2. If I import this save to BG2, will Neera dying at the last minute mean the romance doesn't import too? I have a save right before the Bhaal Shrine so I can refight it if I have to.

    Good question. But I think that the romance will still be imported because oddly enough, even though she died vs Sarevok, she will magically appear alive in bg2. Which is something BGT fixed a long time ago if i recall. I wonder why developer didn't bother making a good transition between bg1 bg2 since after all it is the same game.
