Bhaalspawn powers on imported characters?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Ok so I just noticed my Barbarian PC in my current run has no Bhaalspawn powers - just his rages. I believe he was created as a pregenerated but he might have been part of an MP save (and not leader) - still once he is exported and then imported to start a new game shouldn't the Bhaal powers show up?

    I had only got thru Chez Irenicus and Circus so I started a new game and he has them this time - odd tho - I can't think of a legit reason he would not have had them the first time.
