Trying to import original BG character into Linux BG:EE

And I don't know how to do it.

I figure out to get it in the GUI, but the game crashes as soon as I do try to import it.

    Well I don't think importing from vanilla BG1 to the EEs is actually supported. You'd probably have better luck with a character from vanilla BG2, but even then I'm not sure. Your best bet would be to just create a new character in BG:EE and use EE Keeper and/or console cheats to make the new character match your old character.

    Edit: No idea if EE Keeper works on Linux though
