Question about Minsc

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
So I spoke to him, then decided not to keep him and left him in Nashkel. I then rescued Dynaheir but sent her packing since I have neera. I went back and recruited Minsc. Will he leave because he want to get Dynaheir even though I rescued her or will he stay? I'm hoping to bypass the issue of having them both together.

    What did you say to him? I thought he would attack you if you decline his request to help.

    I let him join to prevent attack, I then booted him. Following that I went on the rescue for dinaheir. Story is, I wanted a warrior and so I thought I'd grab misc then remembered his partnership with his witch so got kivan.i had forgotten kivans quest has a timer. I don't like heading to the bandit camp early as I like exploring first.so therefore I knew I had to boot kivan and replace him.since I had rescued dynaheir and sent her packing I thought I would pick up minsc again but I don't want him kicking up about quest I already completed. Hope that makes sense.
