Fighter Stronghold

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I have finished the Underdark section and killed Bodhi, but the Fighter Stronghold quest line has only reached the moneylender stage... which I think is second to last. I don't have anything else to do before heading for the endgame, since I'm leaving Watcher's Keep for later, so how long do I need to wait? Can I use the console to trigger it earlier?

    Use this one:

    CLUAConsole:AdvanceRealTime(72000)

    As far as I recall, 72000 advances the real time by 10 days. You can also try out other numbers. This will also speed up your romances and other time based quests.

    Doesn't seem to work. The game's timer doesn't advance, and when I leave the city (since you apparently need to be outdoors for the runner to arrive) nothing happens.

    This code does not change the displayed timer you can see ingame. Have you tried using a greater variable for the code? Also try multiple resting outdoors. This quest was bugged to hell in my game, too. Even after the runner arrived and I visited the Majordomo in my game, he basically just said "What's up?" like nothing happened. After multiple uses of the above mentioned code and resting, I managed to get it to work, though.

    Yeah, after hitting the command a few times, camping in the wilderness a lot and travelling from place to place, the runner finally appeared. Then Lord Roenall was beheaded with the Silver Sword in the first round. Thanks for the help.

    plus, you don't have to wait for the messenger to come to you, you can go right outside the door of the de'arnise hold and sleep there for 10-14 days and walk in and talk to buddy and he will be ready to advance to the next quest thingy

    I think the trigger for the fighter stronghold isn't real time, but game time. On my last playthrough I advanced it with sleeping and that seemed to work.
