Kensai/Mage Equipment

in Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition
I am doing a run in HoF with a Kensage! After I dualed I thought I could use mage robes...but it is still not possible :s

I was under the impression that in BG I could use Robe of vechna with a Kensage so I thought IWDEE was the same with other robes!

Which equipment can he use then?

    I haven't played kensage in IWDEE, but you're right, they could indeed use robes in BG.

    well I am trying to find mods or alter robes in EEKeeper so I can use robes but it isn't an easy task!

    Wow what a surprise!
    Beamdog uncheked kensai flag in robes, guess they decided that a kensai can't wear even robes,lol.
