Save game transfer from Android to PC

Hey guys
I've got a known glitch on BG2 EE and it has been recommended to use Cluaconsole to get around it. But my android tablet doesn't have cluaconsole.
So was suggested to transfer save game to PC to be able to edit - however, when i transfer the save game it doesn't appear in BG on the pc anymore?
I'm running the gog.com version on my PC and I've tried both making a new save folder and overriding an existing save. But as soon as I do anything it disappears from the PC slot when I load the game. What am I doing wrong?
