Dual classing into a mage specialization.

I'm curious if there are any mods out there that help with this? I've been trying to do it with Shadowkeeper and while it does work (It limits what spells i can learn) Shadowkeeper won't give me an additional spell slot for each level. I've tried countless of times to make this work but i always end up with no additional spell slot.

What i normally do when i make a kit work as secondary (Multi classing) is to add the kit and then put level 0 on my character in that class to make the kit work. So for a F/M i'll go in and change him to a F/Diviner and put the mage level to 0, level up to 1 and gain all the benefits of the kit and then delete any additional HP/Thac0.

This doesn't work with dual classing though, and I'm lost at what to do. I've also tried to just manually add a spell slot for each level, but this seems to go wrong when i level up and i lose the spell slots.

Any help?

Get Imoen the conjurer mod by Felinoid, I guess it is hosted on Sorcerer place. It has conjurer imoen files that have custom effects that grant +1 spell per level. Open with eekeeper, Copy all those effects and paste into your own character. I have done this previously and it gives the permanent +1 spell/level bonus to a dual class character.

Thank you! I'm going to take a look at it right now and see if i can make it work

You could try the following. (Works in my game, just tested it).
    1) Roll the non-mage part of the multi, e.g. single class, unkitted Thief,
    2) Save game and open Shadowkeeper,
    3) Add the Specialist Mage 'kit' and change class from Thief into Mage/Thief,
    4) Switch XP levels from 1 - 0 - 0 into 0 -1 - 0 (i.e. level 0 Mage / 1 Thief)
    5) Save edited game, and quit.
    6) Load shadowkeepered Save game and level up the specialist mage part from level 0 to level 1, and receive 2 1st level spells.

Multi classing works with just editting the kit. Upon level up, bonus spells show up. This is not the case with the dual-classing, they are hardcoded not to receive bonus spells, I think. Thus, you can simulate the bonus spells via custom effects like my above example.

@lunar, I read @SionIV's post too fast, and believed the latter had the problem with multiclassing as well. I hope the Imoen the Conjurer works for you Sion.
