EEKeeper changing from multi T/I to half orc C/T ?

I'm only level 3/2 on my gnome T/I and I'd like to possibly switch to a T/C without having to redo all this early stuff over again (since I've been through it so many times with different characters as of late... yea yea I know finish a complete play through once already :) Anyway, it seems like using EE Keeper I'd have to know a lot about what to change in order to make the class switch... set the right number of spells etc, proficiencies etc. I guess what I need to do is figure out how many proficiencies, how many spells are available for a C/T at say 2/3 ? I don't want to cheat by giving myself advantage over the stock multi class... am I trying to do something slightly too difficult based on my limited knowledge of what the multi class C/T would have available?

There's a couple of ways to do this. What I usually do if I want to adjust a character radically for any reason (ie make Imoen a full thief in BG2 if I didn't dual her in BG1) is just drop the character back to first level in EEKeeper, make the race/class modifications I want to make. The trick is NOT to drop the XP back to first level -- leave it where it is in a case like yours. Go through and reset your base HP and THACO to appropriate first level values. Remove all weapon proficienices, then pick new ones for your new class(es) -- as a cleric/thief, you'd start with two again, I believe, but they'd need to follow cleric restrictions. Remove all arcane spells. Remove all thief skill points, then redistribute 40 points for 1st level again. Reset your saving throws to cleric/thief values (go to http://playithardcore.com/pihwiki/index.php?title=Baldur's_Gate:_Progression_Charts for a lot of the values you may need). Make sure turn undead is enabled under innate abilities (not sure if this is necessary or not, but best be safe) and reduce the number of trap settings to 1 if necessary (shouldn't be in your case).

Once everything is done, save it and load it in-game. You'll be first level again, but because you didn't change XP, it'll let you level back to whatever you should be at that XP value under your new classes. While you can try to figure out where everything should be and change it all manually via EEKeeper, I generally prefer to take the level one re-level approach because I'm less prone to make mistakes that way -- level one values are pretty straightforward, and then the game itself will handle the rest when you go to level up. Because you are so low level anyway, the difference between doing it this way and all manual is probably minimal, but at high levels there's a lot of details to miss doing it all manually.

Hope that helps. If nothing else, the link above has all the values you should need.

So for each screen I'm able to match the level 1 paly I'm trying to migrate to.
the one issue is on the max can memorize screen...
Any idea why these max can memorize are so high on my gnome T/I in the clerical school? In order to me to move them to 0 to match the paladin (level 1) I have to click the stinking button over 2K times! I guess I'll just try to load up the game and see what happens not having them as 0.
    (see attached)

The only problem with method two is you won't have a record of xp for kills, favorite weapon/spell or toughest creature killed. If that's important to you then EEKeeper is probably the best way.
