Watcher's keep torch room

in General Discussion (Spoiler Warning!)
I am having trouble lighting the torches in the correct sequence. Tried every combo I could think of. There is six torches and I have three colors, red, blue, and purple. I've gone through all my scrolls and texts and can't find a hint about it. The room is right beside lum's machine.

    open the area map screen, look the colors on the ground in the North and the South of the map, you have something like 3 colored "shields"... now try it

    @twelvedays: look at this image just in case you can't figure out the torches puzzle using the two series of three colored shields you can find in the area:

    Thx for the help. Still couldn't figure it out on the area map. Couldn't see any colors.
