Table Top RPG from a distance.

I'd like to run a table top RPG with my friends from all over the place. Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania, etc.. What are some ways of going about this?

    I would second roll20.
I use it to find (and created a group) for Aus/NZ people as US/Europe timezones are at best inconvenient for us!

http://www.fantasygrounds.com - it's one you have to buy, but I think only the GM has to actually buy it. People who just play as clients can download the free version. Might be worth checking out anyway.

There's also maptools but I've seen more and more people use roll20 these days.
