(Spoiler? / bugs area?) Solve the skinner murder quest line shows up in both Quests and Done?

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I found the body of Aegisfield in the Tanners shop after killing the baddies in there. Tried to give the body to Brega but he wouldn't notice i had it. Ended up finishing off skinny in Trademeet and it completed there.. but also didn't complete..

Anyone have that happen before? If so, was there a solution to getting Brega to see Aegisfields body.
