Version number stayed 1.0.2014 after 1.3 update - is that normal?

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
My in-game version number still shows 1.0.2014 instead of 1.3. Is that normal or did patching simply fail for me? Is there some other way to verify whether the patch is properly installed?

    The patching sounds like it failed.

    1.0.2014 is a really old patch by BGEE standards. Like 2 years old. One thing you can check is if you have the quick loot bar. The selector for it should be that red diamond found on the UI left of the talk button in this picture here.
