Followed and Hidden Categories

There is the ability to toggle between the above states on the main page but it doesn't seem to make any difference to what you can view.

Is there a way of 'hiding' categories? I notice the 'cog' comes up when you move the cursor over each one but it doesn't allow you to do anything to them - or is it just me?

    I know a way of doing so. I got in the site with my cell phone (android). There the cogs ACTUALLY WORK. Problem is, you cant "undo" the category hidings because only the full version shows the button of "all categories" and "categories followed". Id like this fixed plz.

    Thanks for this @Fake_Sketch - been 'marking as read' whole sections (eg. languages) on my phone! Aim to have everything read and then try to keep up with new posts...

    I did the same too. Btw (As I did it by accident, Im not sure) if you want to see the hidden categories go to the "full version", switch to "see all categories" and the go back to the mobile version.
