Non-intervention in HoW (spoilers)

Does anyone know what happens if...

...you let the Elk Tribe and Wyrm Tribe fight it out without intervening?

Oh, I just found out the answer:

The Wyrm Tribe stops fighting when there's only one Elk Tribe Warrior left outside. There were still like seven Wyrm guys left, and they just shuffled around while the lone Elk slowly hacked away. Once there were only four left, I got the journal entry that the battle was won. Watched from sidelines (invisible) the whole time.

A band of heroes if I've ever seen any.

@Kilivitz I was sort of asking the question in the spirit of my (still incomplete) min-kill run through the BG series ( http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/37678/im-not-a-murderer-a-minimal-kill-solo-playthrough ). I don't think sitting this battle out is necessarily unheroic. Once they've already exposed the truth about Wylfdene, do heroes really need to kill a bunch of people in an inter-tribal conflict? I'd argue that some heroes would feel it was not their role to interfere there, but they still have to wait until it's over so that Hjollder can send them home.

It was in jest, of course. Didn't know about your pacifist run, just read your link and it was very interesting.
